The popular Lebanese franchise "amar restaurant" has opened its newest branch in downtown Beirut-the amar cafe. The new restaurant was completed by interior architect gregory gatserelia, serving modern Lebanese cuisine in a high-end, multi-sensory decoration, full of artistic flavor and ambient lighting. Combining the different elements of the space is a fascinating installation by the Italian artist Jacopo Foggini, which seems to float on the ceiling of the restaurant.

amar cafe is located in the center of Beirut

gatserelia's design of the amar cafe is far from the traditional environment. On the contrary, this restaurant expresses a modern experience by combining food and hookah, the two cultural pillars of Lebanese society’s tradition. To evoke this unique cultural fusion, Foggini shaped his installation into a cloud of smoke that undulates indoors. 'Smog brings people together to share food and celebrate life. [jacopo] A great polycarbonate installation was installed on the ceiling to represent this concept," explained the interior architect. You can view the works of foggini and gatserelia here.

The ambient light floods the installation, giving it a mysterious atmosphere
