AEMSA-on behalf of the American Electronic Cigarette Manufacturing Standards Association. It is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to establish safe and appropriate standards for e-liquid manufacturing.

AFC-Airflow control. This refers to a small dial (sometimes a screw) found in the atomizer and atomizer/canister, used to adjust the resistance of the e-cigarette.

Clapton Coil-an advanced coil construction for rebuildable atomizers. It looks like a guitar string with a wide gauge wire wrapped around the core wire.

Coil-part of an atomizer that is used to heat or evaporate e-liquid.
