Here is a list of new cafes in Kolkata to check out this festive season. 

From the house of Drunken Monkey, this monkey-themed cafe is a one-of-a-kind hangout spot for all. The interiors are vibrant and have a strong lounge vibe. They serve Italian and Chinese dishes along with quick snacking items, like burgers and pizzas. The milkshakes and sizzlers are also to die for. And you even get a hookah to puff on with friends.

This quaint little cafe, nestled in the lanes of Hindustan Park, is a must-visit during Puja. Known for their freshly baked goodies, like muffins, breads and tarts, the menu has enough dishes to warm your heart and soul. The decor is modern and they even have a black board menu that keeps changing with specials of the day. Do try their croissants, Eggs Benedict and desserts.

Mumbai’s favourite bakehouse has found its way into Calcuttan’s hearts in just a few months and for a good reason. They bake the freshest breads, sourdough, croissants, bagels and more. From cream-filled sourdough donuts to choux pastry, you can try anything with your cup of coffee. Don’t skip their Mushroom and Cream Cheese Croisstata and eggless Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Cruffin!

If you’re looking for a healthy but delicious meal, head straight to this cafe. Every veggie lover’s dream, this cafe serves world cuisine. From Mushroom Stroganoff, Ema Datshi with Red Rice to Beetroot Quinoa Salad to Burmese Khowsuey, their creations are quite innovative too. End the meal on a sweet note with their delicious Warm Apple Pie.

From the house of popular restaurant chain Hatari, this cafe has turned out to be a cool new hangout spot of late. It's cosy, comfy and quirky, which makes it a great place for an adda with friends in between pandal-hopping during Puja. Hatari Grillz specialises in Continental cuisine, so try the signature dishes like Prawn Thermidor, Mushroom Bruschetta and Lemon Butter Grilled Fish, along with an array of sandwiches, burgers and shakes. What's more? This cafe is pet-friendly too!
