All food served is Halal and there are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available to suit everyone’s individual requirements and tastes.

The Birmingham restaurant has introduced an exclusive breakfast menu which is served everyday, except Tuesdays, from 9am.

Start off your morning the right way with savoury options such as eggs Florentine, Shakshuka, cheese on toast or a full English breakfast made just to your liking. Or for those that have a sweet tooth, why not tuck into some buttermilk pancakes, French toast or cereal?

Back by popular demand, Alam Restaurant's afternoon tea has returned. Combining artisan and luxury options, the afternoon tea includes a selection of sandwiches, assorted pastries, scones with clotted cream and jam, and bottomless tea or coffee.

The treat is served from 12pm (Tuesday and Fridays from 3pm) till 6pm, and requires pre-booking at least 24 hours in advance.

The restaurant has just launched a selection of Sunday roasts which are already popular with locals. Customers can choose between vegan butternut squash, chicken poussin, oven-baked salmon or lamb shank options.

Starting from £11.95, all platters include heaps of all the usual trimmings.
