Yoru is really good at getting out of the door.

A VALORANT player discovered how to open Bind's Hookah Teleporter and Yoru. Yesterday they showed a seemingly unexpected interaction in the video. Dot Esports tested this in a custom match and found that as long as you don't reactivate the duel's footsteps, the portal will remain open.

To reproduce this, the player needs to place Yoru's Fakeout in the gap between the door and the outer frame. The door will open automatically, allowing you to come and go freely. Just put your steps down without activating them, and the door will open indefinitely.

Yoru players can use this interaction to expose any enemies hidden in the teleporter, allowing your teammates to knock them down when they least doubt it. When you hear your opponent take the teleporter, being able to keep the door open allows your team to see the teleporter clearly.

However, this strategy does not apply to the conveyor near the shower at site A because it does not have the same frame.

Lead character designer Jay Watford discussed agency capabilities earlier this week, explaining that the developers were trying to “determine whether the newly discovered interaction enriches or destroys the tactical game.” Yoru’s Fakeout may belong to the latter, so Riot It makes sense to patch it in the future.
